LAGUNA NIGUEL, Calif. The first 24 Hour/Nutrishop store opened earlier this year with Jake Halvig helming the flagship location inside 24 Hour Downtown Sacramento. More Nutrishop franchises are slated to open in California and beyond in the next several months. This collaboration between both brands brings added value to members and guests as well as Nutrishop customers.

Nutrishop sits to the right of the 24 Hour Fitness foyer and spans the entire right side of the lobby. Products ranging from protein powders, pre-workouts, BCAA formulas and wellness supplements line the shelves. The store even has its own entryway so Nutrishop customers can freely come and go as can 24 Hour Fitness gym members and guests.
During the opening, gym goers, staff members and potential customers gathered around, asking questions and talking to Nutrishop employees and Rodriguez about their health and fitness goals. Energy was high and consultations were going strong.
Tracy Olson, 44, of Lake Forest stepped onto the Evolt 360 body composition analysis machine and learned what her body was really made of in terms of lean muscle mass, fat mass, water and more. She downloaded the Evolt app and took the quiz to find out her health score. Nate Aguilar, who will be the manager on deck for this location, was with her every step of the way to answer questions and educate her on a few products he felt would help her get in even better shape based on her goals and her lifestyle.
“The customer service was excellent. I learned so much about health and nutrition. Nate was so helpful, he definitely went above and beyond in teaching me new skills like how to use the My Fitness Pal app to track meals and calories,” said Olsen, a fit mom of two who is a curriculum specialist for special education programs at Anaheim Union High School District. “I was so impressed with the passion and energy everyone at Nutrishop had for health and wellness. I usually feel lethargic most days but being around these people really made me want to have what they have – energy, focus and feeling awesome!”
